Tucson Musicians Museum Honoree
"A Star in Tucson's Musical Heritage"
On April 12, 2015, Dr. Herschel Kreloff, then Music Director and Conductor of the Civic Orchestra of Tucson, was inducted into the Tucson Musicians Museum
. One of several musicians inducted that evening, including Linda Ronstadt, Herschel was featured on the cover of the program booklet. He joined other well-known musicians in all genres of music that have been important to the culture of Tucson. Read the letter announcing his selection.
Below are some of the photos taken at the festive event, which featured a tour of the museum, musical performances, food and wine, and the induction of new members. Click to enlarge any of the images on this page.
The Tucson Musicians Museum now has a permanent home in the lobby areas of the Tucson Convention Center. Herschel's larger-than-life photo graces a wall in the lower level, with the other Classical musicians.
Herschel's picture was on the program booklet cover (see above), and a half page inside was devoted to his accomplishments.
Herschel was presented with his award by museum co-founders George Howard and Susan French.
