Be a part of the Civic Orchestra of Tucson without practicing!

We invite you to join COT Volunteer Association. Members of the COT Volunteer Association distribute flyers, hand out programs, serve refreshments at concerts, help out at our Musical Instrument Petting Zoos, answer questions about the orchestra at our events, encourage audience members to sign up for our newsletter, and accept donations. There is no cost to join!

Current Opportunities

Zoo Host: Please assist us at our Instrument Petting Zoos! You don't need to help people try the instruments. You would staff our table, welcoming people, handing out orchestra information, encouraging people to sign up for our newsletter, and monitoring the "tip" jar. You would also learn to put the instruments back in their cases, especially for Zoos that are just before concerts, as the musicians need to get ready to play on-stage!

COT Historian: The COT Historian maintains our scrapbooks of events: newspaper articles about concerts, flyers, programs, photographs--all the tangible memories of our concerts. You would be reimbursed for necessary expenses.
