Do You Want to Play with Us?

The Civic Orchestra of Tucson (COT) is a 75-member, all-volunteer community orchestra founded in 1975. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, 7:00-9:30 PM, at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints at 1540 E Linden Street in Tucson. Our rehearsal season runs from the beginning of September through early May.

The start of rehearsals will be delayed this season due to Covid-19; auditions are planned for late fall.

We currently have openings for musicians in our horn, percussion, and all string sections. Even if you play a different instrument, you can still let us know of your interest. We sometimes need substitute musicians (unpaid) to fill in for rehearsals or a concert.

if you are interested in joining the COT, please fill out and submit the form below. Although auditions will not be held until late fall, you can still express interest in playing with us. We will acknowledge your inquiry within 72 hours. We look forward to hearing from you!

After submitting the form, you can also:
» E-mail the Personnel Manager for audition information.
» E-mail the General Manager for general information about the orchestra.

If you don’t see a form below, email your name, phone number, instrument(s) you play, and a bit about your musical experience to the Personnel Manager.
