GivingTuesday
What is GivingTuesday?
From the GivingTuesday website:
“GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.”
When is GivingTuesday?
This year, GivingTuesday is on November 29, 2022.
Please support us on that day (or any other day)!
Why support the Civic Orchestra of Tucson on GivingTuesday?
The Civic Orchestra of Tucson needs your help on GivingTuesday. As with many nonprofit organizations, the pandemic hit us very hard. We have not received any grants or assistance during the last two and a half years. We rely on the generosity of our donors.
The Orchestra has now returned to:
- playing our 8 free season concerts annually
- presenting our Musical Instrument Petting Zoos outreach at local fairs, schools, and community events
- sponsoring our Young Artists’ Competition in January
We invite you to come to our concerts on December 3 and 4 to hear Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, excerpts from Mozart’s Magic Flute, and an array of holiday favorites. Details are on our concert season page.
