Molly Urbon-Bonine

Molly Urbon-Bonine

Molly Urbon-Bonine is a 10th grader at University High School and plays in its Chamber Orchestra. She is in her 6th year of studying cello with Mary Beth Tyndall and plays in the Tucson Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, where she recently earned an Honorable Mention in its Scholarship Competition.

Molly’s favorite place to spend the summer is at Rocky Ridge Music in Colorado, in the mountains, among other musicians. When she’s not in school or playing music, she rock climbs with the highest level of the Rocks and Ropes Climbing Team.

Molly is seriously considering a future career in music, probably with climbing nearby.

She will perform Elegie for Cello and Orchestra by Gabriel Fauré at the Pops concert in Tucson on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
